We spent one night at Ecolodge Palonegro. We originally found it because we were looking for an airport hotel near Bucamaranga en route to Barichara, and this seemed like the best option. It was by far one of the best experiences of our trip to Colombia! The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need. The rooms are in a jungle canyon so there are bugs as to be expected, but they provide bug spray and a bug zapper which is very thoughtful. Breakfast was incredible and delivered to our room - worth it just for this! Javier (the owner’s uncle, who speaks perfect English) was very helpful, offers a free shuttle service from the airport. Highly recommend the restaurant on site with stunning views over Bucamaranga. I wish we could have stayed longer!

I 100% recommend this place! I had a very nice message written but when I uploaded the photos everything crashed and got erased. I would stay here again! Great food, great bed, great service and lots of restaurants nearby. Also great views! Best glamping experience!!
